Client Services
My work with Planetpro began in 2006 as a senior consultant. In this role, I successfully managed several complex projects for high-tech clients in their sales and marketing organizations. Since 2009, I have taken on the responsibility to lead our Client Services team responsible for service delivery globally.
I began my high-tech career with Teradyne, Inc., a leading automated test equipment (ATE) manufacturer, where I held responsibility for build and delivery to clients such as Intel, IBM, Micron Technology and Hyundai, managing over 300 employees. The Six Sigma management principles I’ve practiced at Teradyne help me bring the same rigor to projects in sales and marketing.
After Teradyne, I joined Cisco with the responsibility of supporting field sales organizations in APAC, Latin America and Canada. In this role, I developed a CRM strategy for Cisco’s Latin American and Canadian sales force and deployed productivity solutions to streamline sales forecasting and crediting processes. The global exposure I gained at Cisco helps us serve our clients with global operations.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kakatiya University and an MBA in international business from Oklahoma City University.
Some of my other interests include coaching basketball to young children, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and learning about various cultures around the world.

Sales
My career has focused on leading the sales and marketing functions of many different organizations for over twenty years. Prior to Planetpro, I worked for almost nine years at Randstad, a global provider of HR services and the second largest staffing organization in the world. As a Senior Area Vice President, I managed a large geographic region, directing teams of sales professionals and overseeing over a thousand contract employees on assignment at Fortune 500 companies. My responsibilities involved delivering a variety of services including staff augmentation and managed service programs.
Before Randstad, I worked at a start-up venture called Talentjet.com, a ‘software as a service’ startup with private job board services. As Director of Sales, I led a team of inside sales representatives focused on selling subscriptions to independent recruiters throughout the United States.
My professional experience also includes seven years with TSU Staffing, a boutique provider in Northern California where I held various executive roles including Director of Business Development and Director of Business Services. In the latter role, I managed the leadership, training and development of the company’s account executives. The significant organic growth we achieved during this period positioned the company for acquisition by a publically traded company.
I earned a bachelors in business administration with a concentration in strategic management from California State University, Sacramento. I enjoy playing competitive tennis, snow skiing, and spending time with my wife and young son.

Salesforce.com Managed Services Business
My work at Planetpro is focused on my long-term passions: entrepreneurship, marketing strategy, and operational excellence. I bring diverse experiences to my current role as Vice President and General Manager of our recently launched Salesforce.com (SFDC) Managed Services business.
I’ve had profit and loss responsibility for over 25 years as a business owner and as a CEO. I initiated multiple business start-ups and strategic realignments. I led and managed companies with regional, national and global markets and operations. Most recently, I provided confidential consulting and coaching to business founders, owners, and CEOs.
My experience includes a wide range of industries: SaaS software development, marketing websites, digital content syndication, multi-channel consumer marketing, business-to-business marketing services, telecommunications, manufacturing, logistics, and hospitality. The common thread has been a relentless focus on marketing and sales operations that drive rapid growth and sustainable profitability.
As General Manager of Weyerhaeuser Company’s IMPAK Center start-up venture, I created explosive growth in an emerging marketplace, achieving $80 million in promotional packaging revenue 6 years after launch. As CEO of K/P Corporation, I repositioned a firm that created and delivered print and digital direct marketing campaigns. I more than doubled net sales to $60 million while achieving a 4x increase in operating profit margin.
My education includes a BS in engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy, an MS in engineering from Georgia Tech, and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
While I enjoy my amateur aspirations as an athlete and musician, most of my free time is devoted to my four young children.

Marketing
Helping people and solving problems are two of my most enduring passions, and Planetpro provides opportunity to engage in both. My work here involves understanding our clients’ work-related pain points and then identifying ways to resolve them with solutions that address their business goals, and also simplify their daily lives.
Before Planetpro, I worked as a management consultant, first at Accenture in its strategy group helping Fortune 100 high-tech companies, and then on my own. Prior to this, after graduating from M.I.T. with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, I worked at Ford Motor Company as a design engineer and then as a product planner. It was there that I discovered a budding interest in business and an intense desire for a warmer climate – which together led me to Stanford University to pursue my MBA.
Outside work, I enjoy active involvement in local schools and non-profit organizations, where I’ve served in various leadership roles, including four years on the Board of Directors at St. Paul’s Nursery School, five years as Program Chair for Arts & Science Day at Baywood Elementary School – an annual program that provides hands-on, participatory workshops ranging from papermaking to bottle rocket design for all students – and one year as Special Projects Advisor to the director at Little Wonders, a non-profit parent-child learning center. In the spare time that eludes me, I dabble in creative writing, portrait photography, and interior design.
