Our Leadership Team
Ravi Thota, CEO
Johnson Boru, Client Services
My work with Planetpro began in 2006 as a senior consultant. In this role, I successfully managed several complex projects for high-tech clients in their sales and marketing organizations. Since 2009, I have taken on the responsibility to lead our Client Services team responsible for service delivery globally.
I began my high-tech career with Teradyne, Inc., a leading automated test equipment (ATE) manufacturer, where I held responsibility for build and delivery to clients such as Intel, IBM, Micron Technology and Hyundai, managing over 300 employees. The Six Sigma management principles I’ve practiced at Teradyne help me bring the same rigor to projects in sales and marketing.
After Teradyne, I joined Cisco with the responsibility of supporting field sales organizations in APAC, Latin America and Canada. In this role, I developed a CRM strategy for Cisco’s Latin American and Canadian sales force and deployed productivity solutions to streamline sales forecasting and crediting processes. The global exposure I gained at Cisco helps us serve our clients with global operations.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kakatiya University and an MBA in international business from Oklahoma City University.
Some of my other interests include coaching basketball to young children, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and learning about various cultures around the world.
Sabah Mirza, Solutions Marketing
Helping people and solving problems are two of my most enduring passions, and Planetpro provides opportunity to engage in both. My work here involves understanding our clients’ work-related pain points and then identifying ways to resolve them with solutions that address their business goals, and also simplify their daily lives.
Before Planetpro, I worked as a management consultant, first at Accenture in its strategy group helping Fortune 100 high-tech companies, and then on my own. Prior to this, after graduating from M.I.T. with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, I worked at Ford Motor Company as a design engineer and then as a product planner. It was there that I discovered a budding interest in business and an intense desire for a warmer climate – which together led me to Stanford University to pursue my MBA.
Outside work, I enjoy active involvement in local schools and non-profit organizations, where I’ve served in various leadership roles, including four years on the Board of Directors at St. Paul’s Nursery School, five years as Program Chair for Arts & Science Day at Baywood Elementary School – an annual program that provides hands-on, participatory workshops ranging from papermaking to bottle rocket design for all students – and one year as Special Projects Advisor to the director at Little Wonders, a non-profit parent-child learning center. In the spare time that eludes me, I dabble in creative writing, portrait photography, and interior design.
